Dr. Samantha Boldt and Jamie Leto are both local Erie business owners who were finding a hole in the health market. They started Pulse with a dream of getting high quality and trusted health products to the consumer without always having to go through the hassle of seeing a health practitioner first.

Dr. Samantha Boldt is a local functional medicine practitioner who works with patients to determine what supplements they should be taking based on blood test results and symptoms. She finds herself often showing patients that their current supplements from local nutrition/grocery stores are not helping change their lab results for the better. Once they change and get on a high-quality supplement, typically within 2-4 months, their lab work will also start reflecting that. She discovered that the reason for this isn't that patients are unwilling to pay slightly more for something they know will make a change, but rather, few patients even have access to quality supplements without going through their healthcare practitioner. Her goal is to make worthwhile supplements available to everyone. 

Jamie Leto is a skincare specialist with her own line, J. Elle Innovations, and the former product formulator for Sanitas Skincare. Sanitas Skincare is a company known for non-toxic and high-quality skincare products, and her own line and aspirations follow that same goal. She is not only a cosmetic chemist, but also has an MS in Toxicology and is a Licensed Esthetician so when she develops products she takes a multifaceted approached to provide consumers with an effective skincare regimen without having to compromise the safety of the products being used. The skin is our largest organ, and what we put on it matters.

Together, they hope to help create a healthier and more knowledgeable community when it comes to supplements, skincare, and testing!
